Back in Business
Before the official start of summer I posted pictures of my classroom on the last day of school. Today, before the official start of fall and the school year, I finished putting my classroom back together again. Soon it will be a real live functioning classroom.

i love the first day of school. Even as a kid it was magic. Something about new crayons and pencils and folders and teachers.

Is that Gen. Custer on the wall next to Lincoln and his son?
Oops! No, I see it's Chamberlain. Should have zoomed in before asking the question.
Dad, you should know that I would never have a picture of Custer...I am not a fan. Chamberlain, on the other hand...he's one of my Civil War heroes.
I can't believe we're already coming upon the first day of school! I love this time of the year.
