In order for students to understand the scientific principles required for a balloon to fly, the young people at the school where I teach design and create weather balloons made of tissue paper. It's really quite something to watch their creative juices flow. The students love it. I have really enjoyed witnessing the annual event. It's pretty awesome.
Some balloon creations travel quite far while others are lucky to clear the parking lot and there are loads of trees that get to meet the balloons up close and personal.

That is so neat. Will you teach the kids how to make those this summer? They would love it so much. Have a great day.
Love you,
Patty
I would be happy to teach them. All you need is tissue paper and Elmer's glue. They do work the best in the winter because you need cold air outside and something to heat up the interior so they will float. Love you, too.
